You can't.

When you think it through it makes sense since. If Atmel do this then it will wipe out all the third party compiler suppliers like IAR and ImageCraft (or at least dent them considerably) overnight. IAR are a big cheese in embedded system tools and it wouldn't do to annoy them by cutting off a revenue stream.

Can't see this ever happening.
