Motorola has introduced the smallest and most cost-efficient members of the 68HC08 family to the mass market. The HC08 Q-Family derivatives are the first microcontrollers Motorola has ever made in 8- and 16-pin packages. This family integrates unparalleled features such as on-chip debugging, powerful timers, internal clock generation circuitry, and Motorola's industry standard 0.5µ Flash memory

The Nitron 68HC908Q-series products are available now in production quantities. Suggested list prices per unit in 10,000-piece quantities start at US$0.70. The Metrowerks CodeWarrior Development Studio Special Edition for the 68HC908QT/QY series is available at no charge to registered users of Motorola's website
