The Quartus II software version 2.2 simplifies system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) design with these new or improved features:

Redesigned & more intuitive user interface
New interface to create & instantiate memory
Push-button performance enhancements
New incremental routing features in the SignalTap® II embedded logic analyzer to shorten verification cycles
