31.01.2002 Фирма ALTERA прислала следующее сообщение:

Dear Customer:

Due to the on-going negative market conditions we have not been able to
achieve the manufacturing costs expected for some of our aggressively priced
high volume products. As a result, Altera will be increasing pricing on all
ACEX 1K devices and select MAX 3000A devices.

A price increase of 10% will affect all ACEX 1K ordering codes that are
currently offered in the pricelist.
A price increase of 2.5% to 5% will affect select MAX 3000A devices
currently offered in the pricelist.

The price increase will become effective 26 Jan, 2002.

Should you require any clarification regarding the above please do not
hesitate to contact your local Altera distributor or Altera sales office.
